– Absolutely stunning French Boulle style desk or bureau plat
– One of the things that attracted us to this desk was it’s big size – 6 feet wide
– Charles Andre Boulle was renowned for his trademark style of inlay using brass overlaid over the ebony and red tort
– The size makes it good for a home office set up as big working space perfect to accomodate laptops, tablets, monitors and eveything else to stay in touch!
– Three big drawers to the front so ample storage
– Ormolu fixtures are bright and well cast and original to desk
– Red tooled leather writing surface in great shape
– Just a stunning work of art, not out of place in the Palace of Versaille or your own home
– Purchased from a dealer on Rue de Rossiers at Les Puces antiques market in Paris
– My photographer neglected to fully wipe down the desk before photos, any marks are dust, the desk is in wonderful condition with a great finish
